The Democratic DifferenceWondering if you have thoughts on what would be necessary for a critical mass to set up here. Would it be major news orgs creating their own servers for their journalists? A major, mainstream company setting up a general user server (e.g., the server from @[email protected] that's in beta)? Something else?

it all comes down to network effect, basically. where do people who post stuff others want to read congregate?
the infosec people have all gone to mastodon basically, so if you want them you come to mastodon.
idk where the journalists will settle.
