Our exhibition, Short and Sweet, opens Saturday at the Buntport Theatre in Denver, Colorado, USA. We will have regular hours Fridays and Saturdays through the 22nd of July, 2023. I’ll thread together a checklist of our participating #gamedevs / #artists

Our exhibition is part of the inaugural Month Of Video which provides support so that we can offer free admission and the artists get paid an honorarium. We are also generously supported by the Buntport Theatre who share their space at no cost.

Short and Sweet includes _Constancia_ by Luis Diáz Peralta, beautiful and with surprising depth. Image is a screen capture from the game. It depicts a two-dimensional drawing of a staircase that bisects the composition diagonally from lower left to upper right. There are two small human stick-figures half way up the stairs which highlights how big the staircase is. There is a speech bubble coming from one of the figures saying “perseverance is scary”.

Short and Sweet includes _Kristallijn_ by Gaël Bourhis. Kristallijn is a short first-person ambient game experimenting around the strobe effect. It’s an experience about motion without motion, where the interval between two flashes becomes an unresolved space, questioning the continuity of our perceptions and our existences. Content warning for flashing lights that might affect people with photosensitivity.

Short and Sweet includes _Patient_Rituals_ by André Blyth, which is a suite of poetic vignettes that reward a slower play style. It was an IndieCade at night selection. Short and Sweet includes _Promesa_ by Julián, it is a contemplative and slow videogame where you wander through dreams, memories and fantasies, exploring the images that emerge when you listen to someone dear that is trying to remember their past.
