Reddit has now sufficiently broken their own site that moderators of the blind community's subreddit who are themselves blind can no longer access the moderator tools.

This statement by the mod team is worth a read to understand the full extent of the failure.

@beforewisdom “Political extremist” is a worthless condemnation that can be and is applied to anyone who opposes the violently oppressive status quo of capitalism. parentis_shotgun has never pretended to be anything but a Marxist-Leninist, and lemmy.ml is explicitly ML.

I would be more concerned about the bigotry claim. However, when I looked into it, the only source is a contact of the sixth author of a paper parentis_shotgun linked once. I see no reason to condemn them for it.
