I feel kinda good that I left #Twitter last year (though I haven’t begun to use #Mastodon to the full extent of its capabilities). Just feels good to have made the right choice and to have gone to the right platform. Mastodon is definitely not a Twitter clone, but I hope enough of this second wave stick with it. Change is probably inevitable, tho. I hope a Twitter-inflected Mastodon will present the best of both worlds.
@TimHoelscherX diversify 🙂
@yvonnefromtwitter you mean to other socials? I tried but it was too hard getting any traction😩 I’ll probably keep trying tho when I hear that a lot of people have popped up somewhere else 🙂
@TimHoelscherX Let’s hope our friends follow us here.
@CailinasEirinn I’ve picked up a couple, but a lot of them went to alternatives like Tumblr or Instagram. I’m hoping they’ll find their way here eventually, tho!

@TimHoelscherX Nice to have you here. To me, Mastodon offers you the ability of diving in when you can and fostering connection while you are here. I have learned so much from #writing buddies here and I hope that, in return, I have given others affirmation and respect.

Mastodon is what the Web used to be -- civil, direct, supportive, collaborative in the sense of sharing knowledge and exchanging it in a way that is well-received.

Look forward to seeing more of your posts.

Be well.
