#FountainPens

Proposal: To reuse those tiny Tabasco bottles as travel containers for fountain pen ink.

Problem is, the barrel of the converter doesn't fit inside the bottle mouth. But the tip does. So MAYBE there's a potential system whereby I can turn it upside down, fill it like a syringe from a medicine vial, and NOT risk spilling ink everywhere? Maybe involving some sort of rubber gaskety thing?

look, i can dream

@NicoleJLeBoeuf If you’re set on using the Tabasco bottle and not using a syringe tool, you might try an Inkmiser inkwell. You could pour ink from the Tabasco bottle into that and fill accordingly.

@extrafine No, the impractical and sentimental wish is to use the Tabasco bottle as is, maybe with small modifications, but not needing any other tool other than, perhaps, the syringe I already own to transfer ink into it. So, instead of what you suggest, finding a way to use the Tabasco bottle AS the Inkmiser inkwell.

Like I said, I recognize this is impractical. It's pure nostalgia on my part. But it would be cute as pie if I could make it work.
