I'm excited about all of this, except...how will I take this to and from GenCon? Time will tell.

@eschy12 I haven't done a math trade in years. I just looked and there is a UKGE one, which I will try next year. Having cash in a math trade is such an obvious improvement to liquidity, but I haven't seen it done before.

@iain I remember seeing them first pop up in a US shipping trade as a blessed option a handful of years ago but Rahdo's promo trade didn't for a long time so it may be cultural.

I have done the math trade at Origins many years, but this year I did an auction instead and had pickup be at the trade. Not much was floating around that I wanted (not quite enough gift cards or cash) and I was overflowing with games...

@eschy12 do you have a small wagon or access to shipping boxes? I brought 54 games with me to get rid of and I loaded them into moving boxes so I could stack and secure them in the wagon. Some years my spouse or a friend would help me and they were stationary with all of the stuff while I roamed and both of us held signs (I would hold the "my user id, and COLLECTING" and my spouse held one with my user id and "DISBURSING" on it.

I find the person who holds the cell phone for the number you give all of your trades should be the roaming one so if there are any questions, you can say "hey, I'll even call you to prove you can hand me cash"

@gpage @iain Last year, I had a lot less trades, but I made a huge effort to try to meet a couple of people a day throughout the con, so that the final trade off day wasn't so tough.
@eschy12 @iain I've done that before. This year I didn't mostly cause of the sorting and organizing that was needed (I had stuff in boxes by recipients so it was just hand over boxes vs individual games), but if I only had 10-15 I'd be more likely to try that.
