Mastadon feels more real than Twitter - it seems a lot more natural to just type out a thought and go with it. I suppose because it's not all at the mercy of some algorithm.

Plus, it seems so much better at fostering a sense of community. I've been on here all of five minutes and I've found quite a few lovely people already.
