It is a wonderful thing to see. Bad employers lose employees. As it should be. Workplace protections against abuse aren’t strong for casuals. Any employer regularly cycling through casuals should be raising collective eyebrows. Imho. Why? Because it would appear they’re deliberately keeping their workforce casual - to avoid having to treat them with more decency in our society and economy. To avoid granting them extra rights.
