I'm lost. I'm trying to find my tech info family. Anyone that posts info on privacy, tech, online threats, or anything else that 007 type of person likes?
@techygeek Your local timeline on that server will definitely be a good place to start. Also note that you can both search for and follow hashtags, so you can see when people post about tags that interest you.

Also, while it's fiction, @cstross has some effective idea's about what being a spy will look like with our current technology in his Laundry novels. :D

@BillySmith @ocdtrekkie @techygeek TLDR version: not only is 007 not a spy, 007 is the *actual opposite* of a security service officer.
@cstross @BillySmith @ocdtrekkie I just like how he had cool gadgets. The reason why I tried to use 007 to explain what I was looking for was simply asking people to share any cool ideas, concepts or new tech that's available. I don't want to chop bad guys necks but the women he was involved with wouldn't be a bad thing lol. I said that to say that I'm not trying to be him, or associate myself with the agent 007 in any way. I love cool movies, tech, knowledge, freedom, computers (preferably Linux), good health, and I also like to stay informed. If you would like to share or if you know of anyone, groups, forums, or anything aligned with what I'm interested in, then that would be greatly appreciated.

The real thing about 007's equipment is that everything gets used in the stories.

Q must have great pre-cognitive powers. :D

@BillySmith

More likely, if all Q had was a hammer, 007 would only see nails.
