What if you had to switch places with them?

Inhaling concentrated CO2 is akin to burning from the inside out for any sentient being, be it a pig or a human. The pigs, in their panicked state, inhale the noxious fumes deeply, experiencing suffocation due to oxygen deprivation and convulsive reactions caused by the harsh toxins flooding their lungs.

Please leave pigs off your plate and go vegan!

@animalsavemovement I still don't understand why corporate farming operations feel the need to keep coming up with more creative, and cruel methods of slaughtering their livestock. A bullet to the brain stem costs 50 cents and is instantaneous.
@gerowen a bullet to the brain is still needless violence. What we need is a shift to a plant-based food system that’s better for other animals, the planet, and humans. Please visit PlantBasedTreaty.org to see how you can help.
@animalsavemovement I was just saying that, if you're gonna do it, there's no need to be cruel about it. Any significant shifts that take place in our diet or farming practices, at any meaningful scale, are going to be decades or maybe even centuries in the making, far longer than I'll be alive for, so I feel like, in the interim, it's important to minimize suffering when an animal is slaughtered, and some of these corporate operations seem to be going in the opposite direction.
