@JFRitte Birbalsingh is an authoritarian Tory see-you-next-Tuesday. No defender of Phillips, but this is a political argument, not a racist one.

@JFRitte You mean that 4 pager letter where Katherine showed that she had misread a tweet from Jess about Aslan (from the Chronicles of Narnia) as Asian and used that example for half a page about how it showed how racist Jess was?

@JFRitte I knew nothing about this, but having read the story in four different online outlets now (for an attempt at balance):
- yes, Birbalsingh could’ve picked a better picture, but Phillips was being a jerk calling her out for it in public
- Birbalsingh massively overreacted and is crying wolf over the alleged racism and “extreme hostility”

The two obviously have a lot of history and need to get deal with it, this isn’t a good look for either of them 😒

@witewulf @JFRitte Phillips was by no means the first to call Birbalsingh out, by the time Phillips made her first comment Birbalsingh had already responded to being called out. I am very much not a fan of Phillips, but the idea that she instigated the response to Birbalsingh's post is ridiculous.
