@nixCraft I'd gladly take a performance hit to block third-party ads and tracking. Speed is not the most important thing especially if you have patience. Just a matter of priorities. I actually have a book or other reading materials on my desk for waiting for these moments.

Of course, I don't believe Google claim for a second as my experience is that browsing performance actually improves when ads and trackers are blocked.
