Peter Ellis@briannawu while the first of these objections makes sense, I don't understand the second , despite it being a common one. Using the 'Following' tab on Twitter, or its predecessors, always seemed to work for me if I wanted to see just people I followed.

When you follow enough people the home feed just becomes a firehose. Hellsite used to manage that better (sorta). Mastodon just lets it rip.
