Frankly, it's a shame that I had to switch to Firefox in anticipation of Google starting to pull shit like this. If it weren't for that, I would be a very happy Vivaldi user.

No, I don't think the Vivaldi team will willingly pull the same shit, but with Vivaldi being based on Chromium, which is maintained by Google... I am just going to work under the assumption that the new manifest BS and any additional anti-adblocker measures will creep into Vivaldi as well.

@nixCraft That being said, I am now also a very happy Firefox user as well. Tho I kinda miss the depth of the customization features Vivaldi exposed in the settings.
