Hey masto, if you’ve been here for more than a few weeks and you really like your instance and have a minute, could you weigh in here and name it and say why you like it? We have new folks coming in and I never know where to point them for real-talk instance recs.

Would love to know whether your instance is open to new people, whether it strictly moderates abuse (racist, misogynist, anti-LGBT, disability-linked), how aggressive its defed policies are, whether it’s technically stable.

@kissane dice.camp is a solid option for anyone involved in tabletop role-playing gaming. Appropriate moderation; blocks the worst instances but doesn't go overboard.

@KeithAmmann I was annoyed that they blocked m.s outright a while back. I was already in the process of moving so that wasn’t the reason I left but I did lose many followers/follows and am still not certain I’ve recovered 100%.

@caleb Yeah, so was I. But I think Sage learned from users' reaction to that move, and he's much less trigger-happy than, say, mastodon.art.

@KeithAmmann glad to hear it. I still think m.s users should view it as purely a stepping off point. It’s a shame so many see it as the “main” place to be still.
