Makes me think of MATRIX RESURRECTIONS and how the antagonist combats Neo/Trinity during the motorcycle chase. I took that scene as warning against vigilantism or stochastic terrorism AND probably also self-driving cars; robot dogs with guns (or the home models wielding knives in jaws); and Neuralink-type crap.
The graphic violence and body-mind horror of that scene is IMO meant to remove the sheen from the idea of jacking in or brain implants in general. And be allegory too.
