Oh holy fuck even once you're rate limited it's only read.

So I can actually post a tweet right now, but then I can't read it.

Notification service is still functioning, so I can actually "read" tweets that are replies to me, through the Notifications tab.

And then if I click the tweet they are replying to, it loads my tweet through a cache, bypassing the rate limit so I can read it. But then if I were to navigate to that tweet separately, I cannot read it.

@rodhilton bonkers isn’t it. So you get replies and have no way of working out what the reply relates to.

@rodhilton I've always joked that Twitter is write-only memory but I didn't think it'd ever be literally true.
@rodhilton Can’t confirm myself, but I’m hearing that Tweetdeck users are avoiding rate limiting altogether.
