lol so the deal with twitter being down is that accounts are now limited to viewing 600 tweets per day, and for just $8 that can be increased to... seeing 6000 a day. this is the single greatest wellness setting any social media platform has ever introduced

@stavvers Same. Also I followed enough folks that I'd typically get 1000 tweets coming in overnight while I was asleep. I'd be rate-limited before I finished my first cup of morning tea!

(There‘s a reason I have a separate Twitter jail account - it was for every time I ran into their rate limit of 100 per 30 minutes. Back when the rate limit applied to tweeting not reading tweets.)
