Rachael L@daihard @Andres4NY @cruickshank also a number of clients (Mona, Ivory & more) display quotes the same way they worked on twitter for years (we all forget that quote tweets weren’t natively supported by the platform for many many years. it’s mostly fine.)
@rachael @Andres4NY @cruickshank I know there are apps that do it (though Mona doesn't seem to support Android), but I'd prefer native support as I use the web interface way more frequently than mobile apps.
FWIW, I have been doing fine on the Fediverse without quoting so far. I do utilize the quote feature on my Calckey account from time to time, but not very often.

Regularly interacting here without quote has been an investment, but it has made a difference how I approach platform and social media in general. It really is liberating
tbh if you want to praise someone you can, You can comment or just boost their post. Your comment shows just the same and everyone's feeds. It doesn't necessarily get buried
And if you want to drag on them, it's always been easier to screenshot and post, whether here or on Twitter
