Gov. Ron DeSantis on Friday signed a measure that will overhaul the state's alimony laws, after three vetoes of similar bills and a decade of emotional clashes over the issue.

@amydiehl I'm of the opinion that I'll just make a prenup if I'm gonna get married. Like it or not, marriage isn't just a love thing, its a legal contractual agreement and that part of it can't be ignored. I'd just choose to keep my own property and finances completely separate from hers, with the stipulation that if we have kids, we both take care of them financially and if things end up falling, god forbid, that we both will be protected from financial loss.
