YouTube could be testing a three-strikes policy for ad blocking - Lemmy.world

What happens if you already have YouTube Premium but never the less go on YouTube with an adblocker because you’re trying to prevent companies tracking you? Also 3 strikes?
I can't answer your question but I can tell you that my ad-free Hulu still required me to whitelist them in my adblocker if I don't want to wait on a blank screen that says "Please turn off your adblocker" for 60-90 seconds per episode.
Yeah I was thinking about something similar happening on YouTube.
