So for the #RedditMigration - the next turn in the road is July 1st. When the Apolo app goes dark.

First thing: everyone should support @christianselig - buy merch, if you subscribe to the app decline your refund (see below)...

But the #Threadiverse should also be ready. And any ways to do messaging, onboarding and welcoming folks into the larger Fediverse should be in the planning stages NOW.

Apollo users, decline your subscription refund while you can

Reddit has forced third-party clients like Apollo to shut down due to exorbitant fees, and please refuse the subscription refund to help keep your favorite developers afloat.

@tchambers @christianselig @fediversereport @fediversenews @fediverseobserver Can someone explain to me what is the point of supporting the developer with money? He already made a lot of money when he developed the app. He's not poor and it doesn't even look like he's helping open source software in any way.

Also, this method of support will not affect reddit

@Distante @tchambers @christianselig @fediversereport @fediversenews @fediverseobserver The Apollo app is one of the best Reddit clients. period. So you give $ if you appreciate goodness and beauty and functionality.

Sure you already paid when you bought/subscribed. Think of it as a tip: you're getting crapped on unfairly and I don't think that's right, and I like/d your work, so here's what I $think about that.

And no, doesn't affect Reddit one bit. This isn't about *them*.
