Something needs to recognize the exchange of value, but this seems like one of those "here's your check for $0.17" situations. Some good points, though.

Jeff Jarvis does a much better job of naming the unease I had with the "AI Dividend" than I did:

"It amounts to a tax on reading and knowledge. It violates principles of the Enlightenment and even of copyright."
