Familiar to just about every Black American, the phrase "traveling while Black," encapsulates the experiences & challenges encountered by Black people during their travels, particularly in predominantly white or racially hostile environments. It sheds light on the racial profiling, discrimination, and systemic biases that generations of Black folks have faced on their journeys across the American landscape.

@Deglassco After that I devoted a whole day to institutional racism in post WWII housing policy, educational and housing lending (particularly by the VA), and union membership. My grandparents moved our family out of poverty via the VA and I believe the VA needs to be where reparations start. For the family of every WWII, Korea, and Vietnam veteran. Guarantee zero interest VA loans to enable the homeownership that was denied to their parents & grandparents.
