Hey @1password do you think you could make the browser extension compatible with #KiwiBrowser? There are a handful of password managers that work nice with it.
One crucial element is the lack of any kind of built-in #2FA support in the browser: #U2F, #FIDO, #WebAuthn, #PassKey. Maybe the extension could overcome this, to some degree? It almost does, but then it fails.
Extending support for trusted web browsers

Update (June 12): The "Trusted Browsers" setting is now available in the nightly channel of 1Password for Mac (build 81009030).

@blake checking it, but it seems this is for desktop browsers? Kiwi is one of the only for Android with extension support.

@zsoltsandor Ah, my bad! I was under the impression Kiwi was a desktop browser.

I'll definitely let the team know this is something you'd like to see, but I can't make any definitive promises it'll be something we implement.

@blake also, for some odd reason in well known browsers, the "repeat password" field doesn't fill. I thought having 1Password directly within the browser could fill this gap. Would work more similarly to how you have a Safari add-on (except not communicating with the 1Password app, but maybe it could?).
(Also, Kiwi is the only browser in which I can effectively use other extensions, especially discount hunters.)

@zsoltsandor Sometimes it really just comes down to how that "repeat password" field is setup. I know some sites do some very unconventional things that can throw 1Password for a loop (looking at you, financial institutions 👀)

If you run into this again, though, definitely feel free to drop us a line at [email protected] to report the site and we'd be happy to investigate further.
