Justin Dearing@TheIncredibleMrGoose @KiffinEileen the kiss without consent is certainly worth discussing, but it was medical aid and I was taught (barring a DNR) consent for medical aid is implied when one is unconscious even if your literally standing there waiting for someone who is refusing aid to pass out.
She at no point refused consent, this was literally the only way to wake her up. The kiss was a justified violation akin to stealing food to feed your family.
I truly did not know this but had always been curious about where that ethical line was.
You took what was an easy joke and turned it into a point of learning.
This may all sound a bit obsequious, but I mean all of this unironically.
To this end, it wasn't a kiss without consent, it was the application of magical first aid with the only cure to the disease she was suffering, therefore should not come under the same scrutiny as would be the uninformed observation.
@TheIncredibleMrGoose @KiffinEileen so I was taught the implied consent in red cross first aid training in the 90s . I'll ask my wife who works in healthcare and I'll ask people that need first aid for the professional review rescuer certs if that changes things.
Good Samaritan laws generally protect well meaning laymen doing their best.

I know you don't know the difference between this humble Goose and a gosling, but learning things, such as this, from people who have lived through these things, such as you, is almost 100% of what I live towards.
