@navigium You're not alone! I've wanted to start by using an iambic keyer but discovered a serious down-side: with a straight key, if you're a bit off on your timing, that's what it sounds like. With a keyer, if you're hold too long it sends conmpletely different characters but perfectly spaced. I'm guessing the result at the far end would be much more difficult to unscramble than straight key timing errors.
