New Mlem release in TestFlight - 0.1.0(19)! - Lemmy

## Download the latest TestFlight beta [https://testflight.apple.com/join/xQfmkJhc] for iOS 16+ Hello, Mlem Community! Tonight we bring you another update. Not as massive as the last updates, but still with some wonderful new goodies to test and enjoy! See below: NEW ADDITIONS - New, gorgeous Profile tab! - Added the ability to delete posts and comments - Added option to show user’s server in command and post views - Added Lemmy 0.18 new sort options - Updated reply field to display account name and the username you’re replying to - Added setting for default sorting for comments and posts BUG FIXES - Fixed subscribed communities only showing the first 10 communities - Fixed OP users not showing up as orange - Fixed account connection issues if the server domain name contained “v1” in it - Fixed favorites duplication issue in the community list - Fixed posts with no thumbnail URL displaying incorrectly KNOWN ISSUES - Tapping comment text in profile does not navigate to comment in context. Tap comment link instead. - NSFW images embedded in description text do not blur. (this is a Lemmy issue) MORE TO COME - Full a11y compliance which should work perfectly with iOS’s Accessibility functionality like Guided Access and Screen Reader coming. Each build comes with increased functionality! - Messages Tab - New & improved fullscreen image viewer - Inbox notifications - Custom app icons Again, please keep in mind that this is beta software. As such, it’s not feature-complete and there will be bugs and unexpected behavior. Enjoy testing, and we look forward to hearing your bug reports via TestFlight and your feedback! You can comment here or come chat with us in The Mlem Space on Matrix. Enjoy! Updooted from Mlem!
profile page gives me chills, we shall carry Apollos legacy ᕦ(ò_óˇ)ᕤ

Right?! That's how I felt when I saw my subreddit list with subscribed and all at the top, looks just like Apollo!! I really hope mlem goes that route and makes it beautifully native to iOS like Apollo was.

They're off to a great start!

Finally I can view all my saved posts inside the app 👍🏻

Thank you so much for the great update

Note that there are still some issues with the profile. It doesn’t currently page any content so it will only fetch the first set of saved/commented/posted content. Hopefully next release I have that working!
Just found this app and it’s nice so far!

Very nice profile page!

And thanks for fixing the issue with not showing all subscribed communities. So much more unusable now.

Thanks for this! One issue that I find annoying is that on my iPhone 8 Plus, scrolling posts (on the posts page) is extremely choppy, especially when they contain images/pictures.
I have the same issue (on iPhone 13 Pro Max). Other than that, a perfect update. Thank you
I’m a big fan of this app. The compact view is really good
Jep this is the first version that works for me. Thanks a lot!
Awesome! A really great update!
I assume there isn’t notification support (/notification counter) yet? Profile tabs looks great, GO DEVS!
Working on it, should be in the next build!
Great work! The new profile view is definitely gorgeous and seems very polished at first glance. Once again, I'm very impressed! I can't wait to see what comes next. 😀
Could we have + button at middle bottom to write a post instead full widght textbox?
Great work! I find it by far the best Lemmy app on iOS atm
This app just keeps improving! Thank you so much for fixing the communities list; I can see all my subscriptions now.
Thanks for the great update. It has improved the experience of using Lemmy on my phone so much.

Great update! The subscribed community page and profile pages look great now!

Thank you!

It could be cool to have a different color for your own name in your own comments.
Awesome! Update is great, keep up the good work!
Dang this app is awesome!!! A good UI makes such a difference in using Lemmy.
This update looks amazing! I love the profile tab and I’m really happy I’m able to see all the communities I’m subscribed to. Good job, y’all are doing great!
Hey, FYI I’ve got a bug that’s preventing me from using the app since the test flight got moved over. I can log in to a Lemmy instance, it says I logged in successfully, but then it says it failed to pull my profile data. I’ve sent feedback via test flight but figured I’d share it here too.
@ndguardian Mine said I was logged in, but couldn't pull any data at all. I deleted the app, and reinstalled through TF, and it started working again.
Mlem is looking like the true successor to Apollo, amazing work team!
Great work, fantastic QOL upgrades in this update!
@[email protected] ping as requested (do pings work?)
Very nice! Please also consider a “share as image” option 😃
I didn’t think this would be the feature I’d miss the most, but “share as image” for a comment with “include original post” was a fast and convenient way for me to share comments with context to friends.
The update looks great! But I can’t seem to find a way to search?
Am I doing something wrong here? First it says "logged in to lemm.ee as …" and then "couldn’t fetch your account‘s info"
Nvm, I used my email to log in instead of my username
When swiping on a comment or something etc. with the swipe menus, you get haptic feedback for the initial action. If you then pull it further out until you get the second action, you’ll get haptic feedback again. But if you then retract it back to the first action, you won’t get another haptic feedback - but you should
