I got a threatening message from Reddit for still having one of my subreddits dark (private). So to keep my mod status there, I am slowly reopening it. However, I am launching a replacement community over on Lemmy and encouraging our users to join.

The whole thing makes me very sad. I started that subreddit over a decade ago, and for a few months only myself and a couple friends I made mods posted anything there. Now it has over a thousand users and receives new posts almost every day. It will be hard to watch it, along with the rest of Reddit slowly die and become a shadow of its former self
