Brad HughesWatching kbin/lemmy instances and noticed a disturbing trend. Not only is the fediverse fragmenting over there, but instance owners are literally being bullied into decisions that will eventually cause their instance to stagnate, or simply turn people off of them and return to Reddit. Everything from defed to instance-wide rules.
It's truly unfortunate. The argument, of course, is "start your own instance", as if everyone has the disposable income to do so...
