2. what makes you think people will move from the genocidal corp's instance(s) to the wider Fediverse?
3. what makes you think the genocidal corp's instance will federate with anyone but major instances, by their own choice?
4. what do you think will happen when they pull the plug on the federation from *their* side?

@oblomov @darnell @[email protected] @freemo @vantablack If #Meta were truly genocidal as you claim, it would have been shut down already. #Facebook is nefarious, but they are not directly committing genocide (yes, genocidal countries use them just like they also use electricity & technology to further their goals).

Accusing them of wiping out humans minimizes real atrocities worldwide (African transatlantic slave trade, holocaust, etc.).

1. Meta was not neutral infrastructure in the Myanmar genocide: they played an active role through the combination of their choice of enragement algorithm and lack of moderation.
2. Pointing out somebody's role in a genocide does not minimize other genocides, past, current or future

Your apples-to-oranges comparison is disgraceful to the dead who were killed in real-world atrocities.

You can rightfully oppose #Meta without falsely claiming they are guilty of genocide. #SMH
