Whatever is going on right now in #Russia, I do note this: #Twitter is now useless at tracking this. Junk accounts everywhere, no verified accounts, swarms of sketchy bluechecks.

The ONE thing that place was good at was breaking global news. But not now.

@tchambers I saw some speculation that this was exactly why the Saudi's put a bunch of money into Elon's takeover. Making Twitter useless for things like this benefits them.

@The_Tim @tchambers And the Russians. Does anyone really think Musk poured 50b of his own dollars into twitter?? It's controlled by the right wing.

The thing is if all news, government, celebrities with a conscience left, they could kill twitter.

Leave Twitter, destroy Musk.
