In #norwegian #economics news: the central bank, which has the job of controlling inflation and given exactly one single lever to do it with (interest rates), tries pulling that same tired lever for the 11th time in 2 years.

Meanwhile the exchange rate has tanked, energy prices are through the roof due to issues in the European market, public spending is being cranked up, and a bunch of other aspects affecting inflation are being left to their own devices.

I do love living in Norway, but it's good to be reminded that it's not a #socialdemocratic #utopia every once in a while.
