I understand that visionOS has multitasking, I just don't understand at all how it works. Apps, even when closed, remain open in the background, playing music, and there's seemingly no multitasking screen you can access in the sim to see what's there or to force-quit it. I'm not sure whether Apple just hasn't written one yet, or it relies on some gestures unavailable to the simulator. You can even ‘Hide Others’ to hide apps, but how you bring them back where they were, I have no idea
@stroughtonsmith Real world metaphors have already been tried by the likes of General Magic, Microsoft Bob, and others. Ultimately, the UI needs to be efficient and not a metaphor to how things are done in the real world. Leaving apps in different physical spaces is not going to work for those wanting to use this to get things done.
@rishio @stroughtonsmith Windows and volumes in the shared space are placed relative to the user not relative to the world. You press and hold the digital crown to recenter the windows to your current location.
