@[email protected] my price range is a bit restricted i can't go above £600 for the bike. I've found 3 bikes that might do it for me but they all have their downsides and varying degree of possible mods need doing if at all.

The kicker is that I'm not buying a bike specifically for this trip, it's also going to be my every day bike (I have limited space, can just about store mine and my partners bike) and I live in a very hilly city.

We are going light as in number of items not weight :p
