I sent someone a message and now I don’t know how to know if I get a reply. I’m using Lemmy from safari on my iPhone and I’m like a super noob here and I’m fumbling a bit

Bell icon at the top right. Should bring up your inbox which holds your replies and messages.

On Jerboa, it's the envelope icon on the bottom. It has a red marker on it if you have anything unread.
