Judging from the sheer quantity of billionaires helicoptering into London today, I’d say the banks are freaking out to a degree unseen since the Brexit vote.
Like, it’s way higher than the helicopter traffic for a FA Cup final and Cheltenham Races combined.
@echtburge perhaps, but we have precedent to connect helicopter traffic with banking (and sporting fixtures), so I’d be more likely to think it’s that. Even when the G20 was in Cornwall it was only a fraction of today’s traffic.
It’s been truly unprecedented today. Like, there was a QUEUE of helicopters at one point.
