Just based on how these things typically go: any minute now, the submersible’s rescuers will meet the Cthulhu-esque creature that captured it, prompting an outcast scientist to join forces with an ex-navy action guy to defeat the monster and rescue the craft (which is carrying the action guy’s strong-willed daughter who became its operator against her father’s wishes, and the outcast scientist’s ex-wife, who was researching mysterious new biological activity detected near the Titanic wreck)
@Antichrista This will only work if the outcast scientist and his ex-wife are able to put aside their differences to work together, thus reminding them why they fell in love in the first place.
@Antichrista Yeah, but when they come back to the surface, no time will have passed, so we'll never believe them anyway.
@Antichrista goddamnit, Hooper, you’re reckless and you’re going to get us all killed.
@Antichrista a year and half ago this would be greenlit for a Netflix series by end of day
@Antichrista This is the most sincere heartfelt film of the summer.
@Antichrista And the movie will open with “based on a true story.”
