WE ARE HIRING A NEWSROOM FELLOW!

This fellowship, funded in part by the Google News Equity Fund, is a one-year, part-time position (8-10 hours/week) with a salary range starting at $8,000 and a flexible start date between mid-August and early September 2023. Preference will be given to candidates with ties to Atlanta or the American Southeast, but we will consider remote applicants.

@thexylom rationale? Citizens of Puerto Rico are citizens of the US. Are citizens of Hawaii not able to be hired? Because, after all, they live on an island much farther out from the continental US than PR?
