Really excited about my upcoming stint as a D&D Dungeon Master. I've never DM'd a full campaign before(only one-shots) so I needed a world I knew through and through and that is the #Discworld

Only a week of planning left. Very nervous but very much looking forward to it!

@PixelBandits That sounds like fun. I have never played D&D. Are you doing The Watch, The Witches, The Wizards, Death, or something else?

@TisBe the party will be playing newcomers in the Ankh Morpork city watch! Maybe one of them will be a witch.

I'm setting it up as another watch equalities initiative (like Sally in Thud) which Vimes HATES - on letting stranger people in the Watch. Frees them up a little to be magic users / Monks / werewolves etc.

Is it just us, or is a new watch equalities initiative a really good kick-off point for Discworld adventures? I'm putting together a campaign in GURPS for an undead hires initiative. Admittedly it was just going to be a Watch campaign until the first three player ideas that got back to me were various undead.

@leftbower @TisBe thank you! I put it in as a watch initiative simply to give players that freedom. Your undead could be lead by the undead rights group with reg shoe leading a new group of recruits in.
