The man who came to fit my new cooker asked me which James Bond was my favourite

and I said Timothy Dalton

and now I'm being JUDGED

I'm gonna start lying about it.

(Cooker man, peeking into my home-office-cum-Bond-room: Would you say you're...quite heavily into it?)
@huskyteer "This is nothing. You should see my anthro-porn collection"
@huskyteer I didn't get Timothy Dalton as an actor until I watched Sextette, Mae West's final movie. Dalton plays her decades-younger love interest and he is magnificent (in an uneven & bizarre film that is a wonder in its own way). He absolutely stole my heart in that role.
@AdaraAstin He's amazing in that, isn't he? Plays it dead straight.
@huskyteer And with absolute and total commitment. Totally amazing.
@huskyteer cooker-man suffers a freak accident on the premises and you deliver a statement to the police like...
@huskyteer I don't know if I can say Dalton was the 'best' Bond, but the plots of the movies he starred in were, to my mind, the best Bond films. Genuine Cold War epics, little need for silly embellishment in that era. Aside from the rockets and automatic skis in the Aston.
