@casmael That was the best of the day (lots of others of blurry bees, or empty flowers) but there are some further back in my timeline, and 🤞 there will be more.
@eclectech it is a very blurry experience photographing bees isn’t it. What camera are you using?
@casmael It is indeed. The best method I've found is when we have a good patch of flowers and I can set up on a tripod and wait for them to come into frame. Yesterday was literally me dotting about the garden chasing them like a loon! I''m using a Canon EOS 70D although have occasionally had a lucky capture on my phone.
@eclectech amazing that sounds like a very zen experience. My preferred technique is to set an appropriate manual focus distance and run around after them in the style of the benny hill intro. I was actually inspired by your post to go out to the park this morning and have a go at some bee photos. First time in a good long while tbh! Xx
