Some dude just told me that since the seeds are a heritage variety developed by Indigenous Peoples, I had to give the seeds to him. And if I didn’t give the seeds to him, my Indigenous culture deserves to go extinct. Yeah, that got him blocked. He was seriously pissed that I was giving seeds to Indigenous communities but not to him. Sheesh, if he’d just offered me a trade without being a dick, I would have shared.
What kind of person approaches a complete stranger/Indigenous person like that, saying give me your shit or face extinction? A colonizer, that’s what kind of person.
