Film #9 of Queer As Fuck: My Pride Month Movie Challenge Far From Heaven is one of those many films that’s been on my “to watch” list that I’d just never gotten around to. Modern drama set in the ‘50s are the kind of movie I have to be in a particular mood for, and I just never really found the time and inclination synching up properly. I’m glad I gave it a watch finally though, because Todd Haynes delivers some fine work behind the camera with this Douglas Sirk-styled story of a woman dealing with her husband’s sexual orientation
