"I'm handsome," Arum corrects him, and Mar squints as he takes in her words, before he registers her meaning.
"What are your pronouns, handsome Arum?" he asks.
"She/her is fine."
"But you're non-binary?"
Arum nods.
"Okay," he says.
For some strange reason, Arum feels... exposed, maybe? Like she needs to explain herself.

Mario's lips curve into a mischievous smile. He runs his thumb along Arum's jaw. "I'd like to learn more about your body too."

The heat that had flickered in Arum's pelvis when she first noticed him staring from the other end of the bar sparked even hotter at his words, and how he still smiled openly at her—no judgment. He bent down to murmur into the shell of her ear, his breath hot, "I'd like to make you feel right."
