When I opened this site 5 days ago, I could not have guessed that I would post such a post. But here we are. As you know, we did a poll on this topic here [https://lemmynsfw.com/post/26029]. Around 40% of people said to block, the rest said to not to. In such cases, we wanted to make the poll, even though it doesn’t matter. Right now, I’m still currently agreeing with @bobbiguy2122 [https://lemmynsfw.com/u/bobbiguy2122] here [https://lemmynsfw.com/comment/82152]. We are going to let community moderators handle the situation in within limits. So it’s going to be users choice to subscribe to that community or creating new one with his own rules. #### Why not completely block it I think we should not ban this pleasure just because it is in a dangerous area. #### As a result First of all we will explicitly ban IRL loli images. Although we will allow non-IRL content under moderator control, tho we will control childish content independently of moderators too. We will make this distinction according to images that look and act like children. #### Defederation I see a lot of people are worried about this situation. But I don’t care. Because as you can see, beehaw, one of the largest instances, blocked the other 2 largest instances. This situation is inevitable in NSFW only instances like us. As a result, you must have one main account, where you can access all instances, and one NSFW account, where you can only access NSFW content. For example, I don’t plan to block any instances on this instance, except in extreme cases. You can block whole communities as user. Personally, I'm not interested in Loli, but their users voted to allow it.

You don't have to join an instance to access their content, though. And if something pops up in your timeline if you select "All", you can still block the whole community without losing access to others hosted on that server.

Yes, I am aware of this.

The point of the thread though is to point out that the instance likely isn't one that most people looking for a reddit NSFW alternative is one that they want to associate with, and to ask if there are any other alternatives yet

You don't associate with an instance by accessing content from it. You do by signing up there and accessing the fediverse as a whole on that account.

I'm pointing out that most people don't, so its not a suitable instance for the majority of people, and asking if there are any alternatives yet.

The moment you have your instance defederate from another one, you decide for all your users, instead of letting them decide for themselves. Why would you want to do that? We have just seen what this does, when beehaw defederated from world and sh.itjust.works. No thanks to that. I, as an adult, can think for myself.

Ah the old cant prove what you said so youre out trick.

Not once in this thread or anywhere else have I suggested defederation. I have repeatedly said this is to warn other normies about their tolerance of underage content and ask for any other recommended instances.
