DataCite Metadata Schema Survey

At DataCite, connecting scholarly resources through metadata is one of our strategic pillars. In this survey, we invite you to help shape the direction of the DataCite Metadata Schema and share your thoughts about the value of metadata to your organization. We also want to know how your organization registers or consumes DOI metadata, including how frequently you make changes to align with DataCite Metadata Schema updates. There are three parts to the survey: General Questions Repository and Service Provider Questions Metadata Consumer and Harvester Questions We encourage you to answer all questions that are relevant to you and your organization. This survey will remain open through July 7, 2023. Suggestions for specific changes to the DataCite Metadata Schema are welcome at any time, and may be submitted through our Metadata Schema Suggestions form.
