This whole attitude the CEO of #Reddit has is horrible. Reddit is based on #communities and people willing to engage there. Taking those people for granted will lead to unexpected outcomes. Luckily there are still people like @christianselig that do show empathy and the will to work to a solution.

@Martindb @christianselig I also love how he downplayed the potential impact this could have on the bottom line if enough communities join the millions more in the Reddit Blackout via this quote: "...like all blowups on Reddit, this one will pass as well."

"This one will pass," huh? Much like the ongoing decline of Twitter from which it will NEVER recover under the watch of he who shall not be named? Which, by the way, is still continuing?

@djsaunders03 @christianselig Even more reason to question the maturity of said CEO. And yes #Twitter also experienced what can happen if you don’t take your users seriously or at least listen to them.
