I just posted Winnie the Pooh on lemmy.world, then got my comment deleted, and my account marked as a bot.

I thought lemmy.world was the non-tankie instance.

I'm going to try #kbin.

Does lemmy.world allow criticism of the CCP? - Lemmy.world

Apparently there’s an issue [https://sh.itjust.works/post/37624] with some instances banning users for criticizing authoritarian governments. Is lemmy.world a safe place to criticize governments?

@malin
There are many more instances than just kbin, lemmy.world, lemmy.ml. search around a bit. Just like mastodon, different instances can have different features enabled.

I'm on iusearchlinux.fyi (coz haha funny meme, also downvoting is enabled) for Lemmy, it's been a really enjoyable time so far

It's actually crazy how "300 comments" is a big number over there, when on Reddit that was considered a decent post, but a drop in the bucket compared to huge posts. It's like going back in time!

@Da_Boom I'm aware - but it's the third instance I went to, and the second account I'd made.

Looks like it was a misunderstanding anyway (some automoderation apparently), so I'll stick around for a while.

If I make an account somewhere else I'll just have to follow all the big groups on the larger servers anyway.

@malin what’s Winnie the Pooh code for now?
@whatcraic President Xi. Chinese people compared him to the bear, as a joke, and then he became so sensitive about it, Pooh can get you in trouble.
