Is this a good time to say that No Country for Old Men was one of the most boring movies I've seen in these here 40 years
@wrigleyfield Do you typically like movies that are like it? (I didn't see it)
@jonathanhorowi1 I have never liked a boring movie, no
@wrigleyfield I was thinking more like do you like the genres that it was in, but I can see how I left myself open for that one.
@wrigleyfield That also describes my feelings about The English Patient. @jonobie

@andycarolan @wrigleyfield @jonobie

I thought both of those were actually pretty good (I had read the English Patient beforehand, had not read No Country For Old Men - not sure if my opinions would have changed had I not read the one and read the other)

But Avatar - the top grossing movie ever at least if you don't adjust for inflation and population - I found it so very meh. Flashy and loud and pointless.

@dragonfrog I clearly wasn't the target audience for The English Patient. I know that people do like the movie.

I feel that Avatar didn't deserve the hype. At best, I felt that it was mediocre.

All just my feelings of course, I know that many people loved Avatar.
@wrigleyfield @jonobie

@wrigleyfield I will never get the boner for it.
